Meet Chris and Katie Jones, husband and wife and owners of DonutNV Greensburg. Along with their 4 daughters, Chris & Katie have been part of the Latrobe/Greensburg community since they met while both attending Saint Vincent College.

When they are not serving up hot mini donuts and fresh squeezed lemonade, Chris works for a large publicly traded consulting firm and Katie stays at home. Despite their busy schedules, they are both actively involved in the community as well. Chris coach’s basketball at both Aquinas Academy and Greensburg Central Catholic Junior High while also serving as President for the Aquinas Academy student advisory council and previously serving as Treasurer for the Greater Latrobe Aqua Club. Katie is actively involved in school activities for all their girls and is the assistant girl’s lacrosse coach at Greensburg Central Catholic.

Did they always dream of owning a donut food truck??? Not exactly! “Between kids in activities, time with friends and family, etc. we never thought we would have time to stop and explore owning a business outside of working in corporate America. After the first meeting with a franchise consultant, the financials of the franchise model and the concept of this being a lifestyle business (we could do it full or part-time as much or little as we wanted), we decided to jump head first into the opportunity and not miss out on what we feel is a fun business with good financials that allows us to maintain our lifestyle, stay involved in the kids activities and connect with the community.
